The framework: Astro
Every mybitness website is built on Astro — a modern static-site framework. Astro generates plain HTML files rather than assembling pages from a database on each visit.
Here is why that matters for your business:
Speed
No server processing on each visit. The page is already built. Typical load time: under 1 second.
Security
No database, no plugin ecosystem, no attack surface. WordPress sites are hacked daily. Astro static sites have no equivalent vulnerability.
Reliability
No database to fail. No plugins to conflict. A site that works today works the same way in three years without maintenance.
Compared to WordPress: WordPress powers approximately 43% of the internet and is the most targeted CMS by automated attacks. Keeping it secure requires continuous plugin updates, security monitoring, and regular maintenance. An Astro site has none of these ongoing risks — because there is nothing to attack.
